Exercise #2: Create a Flourish visualization and import your data and select columns
The purpose of this exercise is to learn how to create a simple chart in Flourish using the bubble chart template and world indicators data obtained from the World Bank’s data website.
Instructions:
- Create a new Bubble chart in your Flourish account
- Replace the sample data with the data in “PhonesWaterSanitation.csv”
- Use the following mappings to map your data to the Bubble chart template elements
Columns to Visualize:
- X Values: Basic Sanitation Access
- Y Values: Mobile Cellular Subscriptions
- Name: Country Name
- Color: Region
- Size: Population
- Time: Year
- Series: Country Name
- Filter Control: Income Group
